Hasbro — which acquired Entertainment One last year — shared details of plans for the 10th-anniversary of Peppa Pig this week.
The show debuted on Nick Jr. in the U.S. in February of 2011 and has won over kids with its puddle-jumping antics since. Hasbro is honoring the milestone with new content, a new Hasbro toy line, and a full roster of marketing activations, brand collaborations, and promotions for fans of all ages.
The celebrations will kick off on March 1 with “Best Of” episodes of Peppa Pig airing Monday through Thursday at 8-9 a.m. EST on Nickelodeon. The week will conclude with a brand new, four-part series starting at 8 a.m. The series will feature Peppa and her family on an unforgettable American road trip.
On the apparel side, Reebok will release a limited-edition Reebox x Peppa collection. It will feature five types of footwear for toddlers and preschoolers. In the fall, Hunter will debut a new collection in time for back-to-school shopping. These partnerships follow behind Hasbro’s recent deal with Urban Outfitters, which produced items for teens based on Peppa’s debut music album.
Four new publishing titles are also on the way. Each was inspired by the U.S. special episodes and will be available this summer.
